Acceptable Use Policy

Where this applies

This policy applies to all PSN.GG members and advertisers, across forum posts, trophy guides, private messages, profiles, support tickets, and any API access. Violations are enforced at staff discretion and can escalate from warning → content removal → temporary suspension → permanent ban.

Prohibited content

• Hate speech, threats, harassment, doxxing, or stalking targeting any member or group.
• Sexually explicit material, gore, or graphic violence outside of an in-context discussion of a published game.
• Spam — repeated unsolicited promotional posts, bulk DMs, link farms, off-topic affiliate dumping.
• Impersonation of staff, other members, Sony employees, or game developers.
• Posting other members' personal information without consent.
• Malware, phishing links, or pages that attempt to drive-by download.

Trophy and account integrity

• Trophy timestamp tampering, save-mod injection, and any "instant platinum" service violates Sony's PSN terms and is not permitted on PSN.GG. Profiles known to have been manipulated will be flagged as such.
• Account-boosting and account-trading services may not be advertised, sold, or discussed on PSN.GG. This includes paid "boost partners" for online trophies, where the boost itself doesn't tamper with save data — Sony classifies those as ToS violations and so do we.
• Selling, buying, or trading PSN accounts is prohibited.
• Linking a PSN ID via verification asserts ownership. False linking is treated as fraud.

Automated access and scraping

• You may not scrape PSN.GG at a rate that materially impacts service for other users.
• You may not bypass rate limits, captchas, or auth checks.
• You may not probe for vulnerabilities outside of a coordinated disclosure to support — but if you find one, please tell us; we will not pursue legal action against good-faith researchers.
• No reselling cached PSN data scraped from PSN.GG. Sony's data, not ours, not yours to redistribute commercially.

If you see a violation

Use the in-thread report button or send a message to PSN.GG Support with a link to the offending content. Reports are reviewed by a human moderator and actioned within 24 hours of triage.
