Respect for copyright

PSN.GG respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512). Repeat infringers' accounts are terminated.

// Filing a notice

How to submit a takedown

To submit a DMCA notice, send the following to our designated agent via PSN.GG Support with the subject line DMCA Notice:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. The URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material on PSN.GG so we can locate it.
  4. Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Incomplete notices may not be actioned. Misrepresentation in a DMCA notice can subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

// Counter-notice

If your content was removed

If you believe content of yours was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice via PSN.GG Support with the subject line DMCA Counter-Notice. Include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., for the district where PSN.GG is located), plus consent to accept service of process from the original notice's submitter.

If the original notifier does not file suit within 10 to 14 business days, we will restore the content.
